Web Development and Style Related Blog

April 9th, 2008

If you run your own blog or have your own website, at some point you’ve had to consider the style and design of the site. If you’re thinking about starting some sort of website, the style and design should be something that you consider up front. And this is exactly what the subject of one blog is.

Stylishdesign.com is a web development related blog that aims to help others with these issues. Their articles can help you keep up on some of the relevant topics associated with web development.

Since the blog is about style and development, it’s only natural that I would look at the design of it to see if the information was credible. The site has a relatively simple design and layout, nothing really extravagant. It is a relatively new blog though, noticing that the archives go back to February.

Now, I do have one critique of the site. The current article on the site says that “[a] website must be well developed and designed, not under construction,….” and so on. The About page of the site however, happens to still say that it’s an example of a Wordpress page. In other words, it’s under construction. The sidebars are also in the middle of this page. I would definitely suggest making sure that all parts of the site are well presented, especially if the site is about style, design, and development.

Custom Photo Cards For Any Occasion

April 1st, 2008

photo.jpgThere are many reasons why you would want to send someone a card. Some of the major holidays probably come to mind immediately such as Christmas and Easter as well as for people’s birthdays. These aren’t the only times that you might want to send someone a card though, and even though you can find cards for many different occasions, why not just create your own Custom Photo Cards and send them for any reason you choose, any time you want?

Sure you can send these photo cards for something simple like a “season’s greetings”, but what about as a follow up to a sales call or perhaps an important interview. The picture can be of anything you’d like so you can get really creative with it. You can write anything you want on the front of the card as well as on the inside. So maybe you’d want to try your hand at the comedy industry and send your friends jokes through the mail. You could also use them for some type of promotional activity for your new business. So, for whatever reason you choose to send someone a card, give these photo cards a shot, and make things just a little more personal.

Local Mortgage Rates at MyHomeLoanMortgages.com

March 17th, 2008

Even with everything in the news, there are still people looking to buy homes. And it’s important to remember that real estate is very local and therefore not everything in the national news applies everywhere. Even mortgage rates will vary from place to place. I, for instance, would be concerned about Missouri mortgage rates instead of worrying about the rates elsewhere. So if you’re looking to buy or will be soon, you’ll want to check into home mortgage loans that are specific to your local area.

Naked Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner

March 4th, 2008

shampoo.jpgI recently had an interesting opportunity to test out a new product. I was sent a sample of the naked naturals shampoo and conditioner to try out. It was the Awapuhi & Lavender Shampoo and the corresponding conditioner that you can see in the picture here. So I tried out the product today and was pretty impressed with it.

I’ve used a wide variety of shampoos in the past without much regard for many factors other than the price. The Naked Naturals shampoo has a much thicker lather than any other shampoo that I can remember using in the recent past. It doesn’t require much shampoo to get the job done so a bottle would go further than other shampoos the same size. The conditioner also left my hair feeling quite soft and smooth.

I also like the fact it’s a natural shampoo. There aren’t any chemicals and dyes that some of the other products use. They also use a natural plant protein called Keravis that increases hair strength. According to clinical trials it can increase your hair strength up to 7 times.

After trying out the Naked Naturals shampoo and conditioner, I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to try something new especially if you’re looking for something that’s all natural. So check out their website to find out more information and you can find them at many well-known retailers.

Wall Heaters for Home Heating

January 20th, 2008

This time of year the weather is generally cold, but right now it’s brutally cold in many areas of the United States. This can put quite a strain on a home’s heating system, not to mention the extra costs of heating when it’s this cold. Well, I’ve run across a cool product that can help heat areas of your home. You can install gas wall heaters in some of the areas of your home that are most frequently used and occupied. These will provide a localized heat source which allows you to turn down the central heating system and not have to pay to heat rooms that aren’t being used. They also are available in multiple sleek designs so you can match whatever decor you might have. These heaters are something to check out if you’re looking for an alternative home heating solution.
